Dr. Liz Lawrence, DVM

Dr. Lawrence hails from the Northeast and grew up surrounded by the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire and the shores of Rhode Island. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island in 2007, and has special interests in dentistry, dermatology, and helping our senior pets enjoy their golden years. Dr. Lawrence treasures cultivating her relationship with clients over time as they both work together to keep pets happy and healthy! When she is not spending time at the hospital, Dr. Lawrence is joining her husband, two daughters, and three dogs, exploring the creeks and mountainsides. If she catches a moment of free time, she can be found mountain biking, taking care of her electric blue crayfish, or getting lost in her garden.

Savannah M

Savannah graduated with honors from Colorado State University with a major in Zoology and Interdisciplinary Minor in Conservation Biology. Her first experience with animals was at a wildlife rehabilitation center which focused on rehabilitation of songbirds, squirrels, and raccoons. After graduating college, she moved to Maryland where she had an internship researching migrating waterfowl. Her first job was as a veterinary assistant and she loved the work so much she has stayed with it ever since. She owns one pet cat, Bells, which she has actually had since 8th grade! In her free time she likes to cosplay, read, and watch anything science fiction related.

Cynthia G
Lead Groomer

Cynthia Gaona went to Pima Medical in 2006 and graduated with a veterinary assistant degree.  She worked for the SPCA of Texas for 6 years.  While there she started grooming and realized quickly that her passion was helping pets feel better and live a healthier life, through grooming.  She loves to work with all breeds, but specifically enjoys working with senior pets, and anxious pets.  She believes in taking her time and providing humanity before vanity when it comes to grooming her clients.  She comes to us with 10 years of experience, and we feel lucky to have her.  Outside of work she enjoys her time with her children and pets.

Stephanie G
Receptionist/Assistant

Stephanie has been working with us since September 2019, she previously worked in a senior living facility. She has always had a passion for helping others, whether they are two-legged or four-legged.  Stephanie has 2 cats named Oliver and Roxy who are her life obsession.  We often call Stephanie our “cat whisperer”, as she seems to have a calming effect on them.  She is interested in transitioning in the back as a vet assistant, so she can continue her education and better serve our clients both through reception and pet care. Her favorite part about working at the hospital is making sure each pet feels safe and as comfortable as possible during their visit (that might mean an extra blanket, some treats, or extra pets).  During her free time, she enjoys video games, reading, spending time with her family and pets, and finding the latest and coolest cat item.

Vy N

Vy has been working with us since February 2020, she is currently going to Community College of Denver for her undergrad in Biology, as she plans to attend vet school in the future.  She completed her intern hours through CCD and has been working with us part-time since.  She has always had a love for animals from a young age.  She feels that the most rewarding part of her job is seeing a pet recover from an injury or illness, she loves being part of their journey and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Outside of work, Vy enjoys music – she plays guitar, piano, and ukulele. She is also fluent in Vietnamese.  She watches a lot of anime in between studying.

Ali I

Ali graduated from Southern New Hampshire University, with a Bachelors’s degree in Communication, with a minor in Public Relations.  She has worked in the veterinary field for the last nine years.  Ali started part-time as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital and quickly learned that she had a passion for working with animals.  The human-animal bond is something that interests her beyond just being in a hospital.  Ali loves to educate owners and make sure all pets get the best care they deserve.  Ali has two senior Weimaraners Dottie and Nico, and a little mutt named Potlicker that she adopted from Belize. She lost her senior Weimaraner Bayliss (who lead her down this path, and was her absolute best friend in July 2020).

In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors hiking with her dogs; she also volunteers with a Weimaraner rescue group. Besides animals, she loves attending workout classes at OrangeTheory, catching live music at Red Rocks, and spending time in her garden.
