Jeri Gardner, DVM

Dr. Jeri Gardner graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Having practiced now for more than 20 years, she’s worked in small animal practice in Cincinnati, the West Denver area, and most recently at Banfield the Pet Hospital in Arvada.
At West Denver Veterinary Hospital and Wellness, Dr. Gardner is excited to offer full-service veterinary services, acupuncture, daycare, and boarding to her clients and their pets in a state of the art yet comfortable environment.
WDVHW is a family-run practice. Dr. Gardner is married to Jim, and they have two daughters: Averi, age 13, and Ryn, age 10. Other family members include Hairy, a Weimaraner-Golden mix, Walle and Eve, their cats, and Mr. Brown, a Holland Lop rabbit. She and her family live in Evergreen, CO. In her free time, Jeri enjoys mountain biking, playing tennis, and exploring the Colorado outdoors with her family.

Savannah M
Practice Manager
Savannah graduated with honors from Colorado State University with a major in Zoology and Interdisciplinary Minor in Conservation Biology. Her first experience with animals was at a wildlife rehabilitation center which focused on rehabilitation of songbirds, squirrels, and raccoons. After graduating college, she moved to Maryland where she had an internship researching migrating waterfowl. Her first job was as a veterinary assistant and she loved the work so much she has stayed with it ever since. She owns one pet cat, Bells, which she has actually had since 8th grade! In her free time she likes to cosplay, read, and watch anything science fiction related.
Beatrix Moss
Office Manager
Beatrix has been working with us since July of 2021. Beatrix has worked as our receptionist and in doggie daycare and worked her way up to Manager. She has always loved working with pets and can often be seen sneaking them extra treats. Beatrix was raised in Indiana and has been in Colorado since 2009. Her favorite part of working at West Denver is seeing the recovery of the sick pets that come in and loving on all of our patients. She has two rescue black labs and a feisty orange tabby at home. On her days off Beatrix spends her time spoiling her two sons with her husband.
Stephanie G
Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Stephanie has been working with us since September 2019, she previously worked in a senior living facility. She has always had a passion for helping others, whether they are two-legged or four-legged. Stephanie has 2 cats named Oliver and Roxy who are her life obsession. We often call Stephanie our “cat whisperer”, as she seems to have a calming effect on them. She is interested in transitioning in the back as a vet assistant, so she can continue her education and better serve our clients both through reception and pet care. Her favorite part about working at the hospital is making sure each pet feels safe and as comfortable as possible during their visit (that might mean an extra blanket, some treats, or extra pets). During her free time, she enjoys video games, reading, spending time with her family and pets, and finding the latest and coolest cat item.

Technician
Vy has been working with us since February 2020, she is currently going to Community College of Denver for her undergrad in Biology, as she plans to attend vet school in the future. She completed her intern hours through CCD and has been working with us part-time since. She has always had a love for animals from a young age. She feels that the most rewarding part of her job is seeing a pet recover from an injury or illness, she loves being part of their journey and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Outside of work, Vy enjoys music – she plays guitar, piano, and ukulele. She is also fluent in Vietnamese. She watches a lot of anime in between studying.
Briza F
Doggie Daycare & Boarding Attendant/Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Briza is a Colorado native but has roots from Mexico and Germany, and she is bilingual. She is currently going to school to receive her veterinary technician degree. Briza always thought she wanted to be in the medical field, and felt she’d do best with animals. Her favorite part of working in a hospital is seeing sick pets get better. She lives with her significant other and has two huskies and one pit bull. Outside of work she loves outdoor activities; camping, hiking, and exploring. She is an avid coffee lover, and doesn’t miss a shift without it!

Deanna V
Technician
Deanna has been working with us since November of 2021. She has Been working as a Veterinary Assistant for the last 6 years. Her favorite part of working with us is helping animals in need. Deanna is originally from California and has been in Colorado since 2018. She has a French bulldog named Spud and a labrador retriever named Addie. Outside of work, Deanna likes to sit back relax and play video games.
